Runbot Game Review (AOD #196)

This Is The Future 

A lot of running games exist in the app stores, both good and bad. Runbot is one of those games that I enjoy playing. Made by Bravo Game Studios and published by Marvelous Entertainment, it may not be a breakthrough/unique idea but I like the way it is put together. You are a trapped Runbot that escapes captivity. Your goal is to run as far as you can, avoid obstacles and collect battery cells.

I enjoyed the tilted angle of the screen and the excellent graphics of the game. Everything plays out very well and the transitions between obstacles become more difficult as you progress. With that being said this is a fast paced game that has a lot of upgrades to unlock and a decent amount of customisation. Missions are available for each attempt you make and if you are successful you collect the rewards.

Runbot impressed me not for its originality, but for the fact that I kept wanting to play again so that I could unlock everything. Adding elements that can actually help you progress more when you unlock them was a wise move from the developers. Download it and give it a go!
