The New Reversible USB Is Late But Finally Here (Almost)
The days of our frustration may be coming to an end this July as this new USB design shows of the USB 3.1 Type-C reversible cable. The renderings may be different from the final product we will see, however the main point is the long awaited change is finally near. Some may consider this an insignificant change but personally I prefer connecting my cable from the first attempt not the third!
"...the long awaited change is finally near."
Similar to Apple's Lighting Cable, Type-C will replace both USB and Micro-USB and become the universal standard. The cables will support bandwidths up to 10Gbps as they will use USB 3.1. This is great news and long due in my opinion, it is about time we make the transition to something universal that causes less frustration. What do you think about the new design? Leave a comment and let me know.
