Super Mega Runners Game Review (AOD #218)

Super Mario Runners?

 

Nostalgia is a strong feeling that sometimes makes a game even better . If you wanted me to describe Super Mega Runners with one word it would be Nostalgia. This game is made by Namicom and it reminds me of early Super Mario games. The main difference between them is that Super Mega Runners is an endless runner. 

"...it reminds me of early Super Mario games."

However this game is well put together, simple and fun to play for short periods of time.The controls are very simple as you only need to touch the screen to jump and hold to jump higher. The gameplay is responsive and the game is fast paced with increasing difficulty. I like the pixel art of the game but I would like a less repetitive soundtrack. There are various characters to unlock and a lot of power ups to collect while playing.

This game is not that much different than other endless running games but there is something about the similarities to Super Mario games that draw me to it. Go ahead and give it a try.
