Hey guys! Today we will check out Solar Swarm, available on Android and iOS, made by Freshly Baked Games. Saving your planet while you are attacked by aliens is the goal here. Defend yourself against waves of aliens that keep getting stronger as you progress.

Solar Swarm is a fairly simple game with simple controls and a few power ups you can use. Touching around the screen will direct your line of fire and tapping on various power-ups dropped when killing aliens collects them. With a few other gestures like pinching or drawing a circle around your planet activates power-ups to help you through waves of aliens. The graphics of the game are simple and the gameplay is responsive.

If you are looking for something complex and in depth with a lot of upgrades this may not be the game for you. For short gaming sessions however this game deserves a shot.
