Android Wear Announced: Google's plan
Google plans to be on everyone's wrist this year as the search giant announced Android Wear today. This is essentially Google Now on your wrist in the form of a swartwatch. So far the smartwatch market did not have much competition or options for that matter. With this move Google announced that they will be partnering wit LG, Motorola, Samsung and HTC as well as Fossil Group.

These smartwatches will be powered with chips from Qualcomm, Intel, Broadcom and other companies. As expected there will be health and fitness monitoring with different apps as well as smartphone pairing to listen to music playlists or whatever the developers come up with. This could be a success and it will be determined heavily by the price and what Apple comes up with in the smartwatch market. Would you buy a Google powered smartwatch?
