Out There Game Review (AOD #164)

Out There

Hey guys! Today we will check out Out There, available on Android and iOS, made by Mi-clos Studio. You awaken from cryonics to find out you are alone in space with dangers lurking in every turn and decision you make. Life in space can be fatal and the only thing you have is your spaceship. With limited resources you scavenge around planets in order to mine elements or probe gas giants to get fuel and oxygen. Every move you make may as well be your last one as space has cruel and unpredictable dangers.

"Every move you make may as well be your last one as space has cruel and unpredictable dangers."

However everything is not bad and filled with danger, opportunity arises in meeting alien civilizations and exploring unknown parts of the galaxy. You have the ability to learn new technologies, upgrade your ship and survive longer with the elements you collect throughout your journey. There are many ways to die in this game but only one thing is certain, you are alone. The graphics are brilliant and represent each scene very well, almost like reading a comic book. The controls are touch based, the only thing you need to learn is how to navigate around, mine and upgrade your technologies. Everything besides that is a matter of luck and survival.

"You have the ability to learn new technologies, upgrade your ship and survive longer with the elements you collect throughout your journey."

Once you die everything is over, that's it. You must start over from the beginning with a new spaceship and a new randomly generated universe. That is the beauty of Out There, whatever happens you always come back to it with the hope to explore the new universe further and use your new knowledge to survive.
