Hey guys! Today we will be checking out The Great Martian War, available on Android and iOS, made by Secret Location. You are Gus Lafonde a fearless scout and soldier that must survive while running away from Aliens through the battlefield. To the fans of running games that seek something different but in the core is more of the same this is something that will appeal to them. The whole alternate history scenario is great and is an interesting take on history as we know it.

There are two options to control your movement, tilting or touching left or right on the screen to avoid obstacles. Additionally swiping up or down is used for jumping or sliding to avoid obstacles. The graphics are great, however are the graphics enough to keep you interested? Another interesting feature is that if you get hit you do not instantly die, you get injured and when hit twice die. Upgrades are also available to unlock using currency you earn by completing objectives.

The running game genre has being fairly the same formula recycled throughout the mobile games available today. This game though has a different take that may or may not interest you, it is completely up to you and your taste in games. It will keep you busy for awhile, go ahead and download it!
