Hey guys! Today I want to talk about the upcoming HTC flagship phone, codenamed the HTC M8. The actual retail name is not yet set in stone but we could expect something like HTC TWO or keeping the same name like the new Nexus 7 did. The previous HTC One has been a huge success and very popular in 2013 with amazing build quality, a full HD screen and great specs. Keeping that in mind, the bar is set high for the new HTC M8 and it must perform in order to be successful.

The same build quality and uni-body aluminium design is expected to follow with the signature dual front speakers that defined its predecessor. The Snapdragon 800 processor is also expected to be present in the new HTC flagship as well as 2 GB of RAM. These should be plenty to drive the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat version that will be running along with Sense 6.

Some of the changes we should see is the transition between physical buttons to on screen buttons and an increase in screen size to 5 inches. The main feature that intrigued me is the addition of a second back camera on the phone. The use of that has yet to be seen, hopefully it will work well and serve a meaningful purpose.

From what I have seen until now minor changes are happening to the phone, hopefully they will be enough to compete in this tough market, however HTC is sticking to the strong points of the HTC One and that is a good sign.
Are you excited about the HTC M8, will you pick up one when it comes out?
