Dungeon Madness Game Review (AOD #148)

Dungeon Madness

Hey guys! Today we will check out Dungeon Madness, available on Android, made by Juraj Pancik. Explore the dungeon and kill the evil wizard that plans to conquer the world! Sounds easy doesn't it? Well it is not. Fight your way through zombies, skeletons and collect weapons while you level up and upgrade your character.

The controls are simple as you only need to tap to move your character around and tap on doors or any item to interact with it. When you start the game the only weapon you have available is a stick, however as you move on you find more equipment that increases your stats. The attacks are automatically done when you get close to the enemy and there is no way to block enemy attacks, it all depends on your defence level. The graphics of Dungeon Madness are simple but do a great job at giving a retro dungeon experience.

Levelling up provides skill points that can be spent on either attack/defence/vitality and additionally improved even more when items found in the dungeons are equipped. An inventory screen is also available that holds all your items and a quick selection bar to be able to use them quickly. This game strips down the rules and presents a simple RPG game that provides quick action on the go. It could have additional items or equipment, even more levels and enemies, however it is fun and it will keep you busy for a while.

SCORE: 3.5 OUT OF 5
