Samsung announces the Galaxy tab 3 7.0

Another day, another Samsung product

Samsung announced the new addition to the Galaxy Tab family, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3.0. According to Mashable it will come with Android Jelly bean 4.1 on-board. It will have a mediocre ( 1024x600 screen), for today's full HD standards, but it will be capable of full HD video playback. It will be powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual-core processor and will be available with 8/16GB of internal storage memory (micro SD expansion will be available). In addition there will be a 3 MP rear facing camera and a 1.3 MP front camera.

The question here is, will this "updated" version of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 sell? How will this compete with the likes of the Nexus 7 or Ipad Mini and the new generation that will follow any time now? The way I see it it doesn't even compete with today's competition how will it stand up to the new generation? I believe Samsung is trying to be in all markets but not really innovating in any of them.
